International Collect on Delivery (ICOD) Fee for US Deliveries by UPS Announced
UPS will introduce an International Collect on Delivery (ICOD) fee of US$12. (Effective from June 2, 2025)
This will be charged to the U.S. recipient at delivery along with any unpaid duties, taxes, and other government-related fees (hereinafter referred to as "duties") for the shipment.
Recipients can avoid the ICOD fee if they pay the applicable customs charges electronically, through the UPS International Pre Payment Application (IPPA) prior to delivery.
To ensure that UPS can send the U.S. recipient the prepayment notice timely, we Shinei are always required to provide UPS the recipients’ accurate contact information such as name, phone number and email address for all export shipments by UPS.
